John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:17 "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."
This year 2006 here in the Philippines, on April 10-16, Filipinos commemorate Jesus Christ's sufferings, death, and resurrection. It reminds us how Jesus saved us from our sins.
With God's great love to us, Jesus had to suffer and sacrifice His life. Yet on the third day after His death, Jesus resurrected and remained faithful to us by giving us abundant blessing in different ways.
Men have different views, beliefs, religion, but despite all these differences, we have one true loving God who understands us. No one from us should condemn others but to respect and understand one another.
I am not a Catholic yet I respect these people who carries their cross for I believe that they have their own purpose why they have to do this. One great example is my brother-in-law who, for years, been carrying cross from Holy Wednesday to Good Friday to glorify God and thank Him for a new life extended to their mom after a tragedy.
And I salute GMA 7 for airing "Sa Ngalan Ng Anak" on Good Friday, and "Milagroso" on Black Saturday for those messages left in the hearts of us Filipinos and the great values that we must remember especially God's great love for mankind.
All glory and honor to our good Lord!
Celebrate! Jesus has risen and He lives forevermore.
