What is marriage?

It is the legal union of a man and a woman as husband and wife; a path to a healthy relationship, the state of being married; wedlock.

Why are most women so fascinated with marriage or wedding proposals? I heard from many women's experiences how they got thrilled, awed, and mesmerized on how they received wedding proposals from their husbands and I can't help but amuse and with eyes and mouth opened, truly romantic that I also wish to experience the same.

Just today while not much busy in the office, I came across to a forum which discussed on how these young wives received proposals from their husbands. Different ways, different styles, different reactions and endings.

Common style of men, they give their fiancee an engagement ring and asks, "will you marry me?" Some plan it carefully like that of a dimlight or a candlelight dinner with orchestra serenading the couple and the guy proposes for marriage at the end of the dinner. Others do it in front of their friends, family, or some proposes to live-in partners after cooking and preparing a breakfast-on-bed. A lot more to make these women shiver and left unspoken with so much joy in their hearts.

But how important is it for a woman? It's the thought, it's the uniqueness, the creativity of the romance, the sincerity of a man to be binded as one, and most of all, the happiness it will leave her in her heart & will remain in her memory forever until the end of time.
