The Essence of Being a WOMAN...

Does this ring a bell to you? Remember an 18 year old model of New Delhi, India who enjoys writing poetry in her spare time, and considered LOVE as the essence of LIFE in India? She stressed out that in India, there is multi-national people with different languages and religions, (in fact have 168 languages), who live together with peace. Which smart and brilliant answer to a question WHAT FOR YOU IS THE ESSENCE OF BEING A WOMAN gave her the crown for Miss UNIVERSE 1994; Miss Sushmita Sen?

Her winning answer, "Being a woman is a gift of God which we should appreciate. The origin of a child is a mother, and is a woman, a woman who shares love and shows man what love, caring and sharing is all about."

A famous question and answer which reminded me of, whenever I see pregnant women.

A special thanks to Ms. Mirasol Calumpang-Grubba; a jolly, pretty Filipino national who is presently residing in Warsaw, Poland, married to a responsible, loving Polish guy, who permitted me to write this blog for her to discuss about PREGNANCY (thanks for the photo Wojciech).

It is indeed the essence of being a woman to continue the evolution of man. Woman was created by God to procreate with man and Him. It is God's greatest gift for a woman to be a child's origin.

From a gorgeous 34-24-34 vital statistics of a sexy woman, here comes a huge belly with matching morning sickness (nausea, vomitting, dizziness) and craving lots of food, which makes us women likely to be seen like an enormous elephant or a walrus as my okuchany jokingly calls me :D

Pregnancy makes us women feel sick but happy, tired but excited whenever we feel every moves of that baby in our womb, that though body is changing and the mood is volatile, as long as we have the future dad beside us who is proud to be a father of his child, and takes care of us like his queen in his kingdom, whew! no sweat! great and happy to be a Mom. And remember, the baby in you feels every emotion a Mom is experiencing. I hope there will be men who could read this blog to realize how pregnant women are undergoing and what do we need most. None other than their love, understanding and their support.

A pregnant woman's life is at stake, and so it is advisable to have a monthly pre-natal check-up or as often as necessary as advised by the Obstetrician-Gynecologist for the safety of both the mother and the child. There is a need to take multivitamins with iron, drink milk to supply calcium for the development of the child's bones, food and fruits rich in Vitamin C for normal growth & repair of tissues of the woman's body such as green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits, juices, tomatoes, broccoli, sweet and white potatoes, and cantaloupe.

Pregnancy has complications too. There are high risks for placenta abruptio or the separation of placenta from the site of uterine implantation before the delivery of the fetus, vaginal bleeding, miscarriages for some reasons, anemia, UTI or urinary tract infection, and other diseases a pregnant woman is prone to.

For nine months, a woman must take good care of her body, of this sweet little creature in her womb to assure their security, to give life to a child who might be God's greatest instrument to share love and peace for mankind :)

My prayers for all future Moms and their babies, especially to you Mirasol and baby Mark Wojciech Grubba. Good health, strong mind and body may God shower unto you all.
